Dr.DIO Studio is an independent music studio that writes and publishes its own electronic music on drdio.studio and on the Dr.DIO YouTube channel. The service is operated by FOP Yukhno Dmytro Viacheslavovych, tax ID 3113221650, Ukraine (registered address: Kobzareva St. 29, apt. 91, Znamianka 27400, Kirovohrad region). The radio, every track and every hour play free, with no ads, with or without an account. Without an account a track can be skipped or rewound after its first minute; with a free account any time, up to 10 skips an hour; Club members have no limits. Free listening is for your own, private enjoyment: at home, at work, on the road. Playing Dr.DIO to the public in a business, a shop or an event needs a venue license or a DJ license, described below.
An account is optional, free and personal, created through Google or Apple sign in, one per person. It keeps your favorites, playlists, history, support messages and anything you buy. Keep it for yourself: one person, one account. An account stays signed in on up to three devices at a time; signing in on a further device signs out the oldest one. No automated access, no bulk saving and no attempts to get around limits. We may pause an account that breaks these rules. You can download your data or delete the account at any time on the Account page.
The Club is a monthly or yearly subscription that supports the studio. Members get offline listening for their own use (in the Dr.DIO app, and until the app is out a set number of hour downloads each month), a monthly number of tracks for their own videos and podcasts without a credit line, and the right to ask for a mood or a situation for a future hour. Free listening stays free for everyone.
Club Duo is the Club for two accounts. The buyer invites a second person by the email of their existing Dr.DIO account; that person must be on the free plan and accepts the invitation in their own account. The second person can be changed once in 30 days. Either of the two can pay for the Duo; when the second person pays, they become its owner. If the Duo ends, both accounts go back to the free plan.
When you change plans (for example from the Club to Club Duo, or from monthly to yearly), the unused part of your current payment is converted into days of the new plan at its price and added to its period. Trial and gift days carry no money and are not converted.
Each subscription period is paid on its own: a day before it ends we email you a link to pay for the next one. Nothing is charged automatically; without a payment the membership ends with the paid period. Hour downloads are for your personal listening only: you may not share, upload, sell or play them in public.
Creators can take tracks for their videos, live streams and podcasts. On the free plan a few tracks a month are licensed for your own channel or podcast, on one condition: the description of every video or episode that uses the track says "Music: Dr.DIO", the track title and drdio.studio. Club members get a larger monthly number and need no credit line; monetized videos on their own channels are fine. Videos made for clients, ads, films, games and apps are not covered by Free or Club: write to us for those.
Every track you take gets a license number in your account. The license is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable; it covers the videos you publish while it applies and stays valid for them afterwards. It does not let you share or resell the file, publish the track on its own or as a music video, register it with Content ID or any rights collection system, use it in films, television, games or apps, or use it to train or tune any AI model. DJs top up a balance and buy the tracks they choose, each at the price shown on the track page. Buying a track gives a license to use it, not ownership of the track or of any rights in it; the track stays in the account and can be downloaded as a FLAC master and as an MP3. The balance never expires. Every bought track comes with a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable DJ license that never expires.
The DJ license lets you play the track in your live DJ sets in clubs, bars, venues and at events; in recorded mixes and podcasts that you publish under your own name; and in live-streamed DJ sets. Please credit the track as Dr.DIO, followed by its title.
The DJ license does not let you share or resell the file; upload the track on its own to streaming services, stores or video platforms; register it with Content ID or any rights collection system; use it in advertising, films, games, apps or other synchronisation; present it as your own; or use it to train or tune any AI model. A bought track can be downloaded again a few times if you lose it; the exact number is shown on your DJ page.
A venue license (the Business plan) lets an individual or a sole proprietor play Dr.DIO as background music at one location: a cafe, a bar, a barbershop, a salon, a shop, a studio or an office. It runs through the Dr.DIO business player for as long as the subscription is active; the first 14 days are free. All Dr.DIO music is our own, so no separate music rights fees apply. On request we issue a license certificate in the name of your venue. Several locations, companies and chains get their own terms on request. The license does not cover rebroadcasting, radio or television, events with paid entry, or putting the music into your own videos or ads.
Payments are processed by monobank internet acquiring (JSC Universal Bank).
The checkout accepts Visa and Mastercard from any country, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Prices are set in US dollars, and for buyers in Ukraine in hryvnias as shown on the Ukrainian pricing page; the card is charged in hryvnias, and a foreign bank converts it at its own rate. We never see or store your card details. Refunds follow our Refund policy. Questions about a payment, a receipt or a license: pay@drdio.studio.
All music, artwork, video and text on drdio.studio belong to Dr.DIO Studio. Listening, sharing links and embedding our YouTube videos are always welcome. Any other use, beyond what these terms and the licenses above allow, needs our written permission.
Please do not scrape the catalogue, overload the service, try to reach other people's accounts, or use the site to break the law. Playlist names and messages must not insult, mislead or advertise. The site is provided as it is; we work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will never be down.
We may update these terms when the service changes; the date at the top always shows the latest version, and for paid plans we tell members before a change that affects them. These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine; nothing here takes away the consumer rights you have in the country where you live.
