The rights holder
All musical works and sound recordings played and sold on drdio.studio are created in the studio's own Dr.DIO Studio, owned by FOP Yukhno Dmytro Viacheslavovych (tax ID 3113221650). He owns the property rights to them, and for works and recordings generated with artificial intelligence software, including the studio's own models, the special (sui generis) right to non-original objects generated by a computer program under Article 33 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related Rights No. 2811-IX. These rights cover selling, distributing and reproducing the music.
Vocals in the tracks are synthesized and there are no live performers, so no third party holds related rights in the recordings. Lyrics are written or generated in the studio and belong to it on the same grounds.
The site has no works by other authors or rights holders, so no contracts with other rights holders or agencies are needed to sell this music. The rights are not transferred to anyone and are not encumbered.
What belongs to the studio
- the musical works and recordings of the whole catalogue: tracks, hour-long collections, Dr.DIO radio stations;
- track and collection titles, covers, videos and texts on the site;
- the Dr.DIO mark and the studio logo.
Where it is published
The studio publishes the same works as their author and rights holder on the official Dr.DIO YouTube channel and on drdio.studio. Content ID is not used against creators: holders of a Dr.DIO license can add the music to their videos without worry.
Licenses for buyers
Buyers get a non-exclusive license in the scope set by the terms: the Club subscription, the background music license for a venue (Business) and the DJ license for single tracks. Every license has a number in the buyer's account and is written into the file's metadata.
