When Artlist is the better choice
If you need footage, templates and sound effects as well as music, Artlist puts them under one account. Dr.DIO has no footage and no sound effects.
Artlist's help center says projects published during the subscription can keep being used and monetized after it ends. Its Pro plans also cover commercial work that Dr.DIO does not license, such as client projects.
When Dr.DIO fits better
Artlist's Music Pro and Music & SFX Pro plans are billed yearly only. Dr.DIO Club ($2.99) and Creator ($9.99) can be paid month by month, and the free account needs no payment at all.
Dr.DIO's music comes from one studio in Ukraine, so the sound stays consistent across a channel: downtempo, ambient, deep house, synthwave, chillwave and lounge.
Dr.DIO does not run Content ID, so its own system will not claim your videos.
How to try Dr.DIO
