When Pretzel is the better choice
Pretzel is built as a player for live streams, with separate Twitch safe and YouTube safe catalogs, a desktop app and a Streamlabs Desktop widget. Its yearly price of $71.88 is lower than Dr.DIO Creator's $99 a year.
Its catalog comes from independent artists who are paid a share of revenue.
When Dr.DIO fits better
Pretzel's website is online, but its help center is empty and we found no recent news, so its current status is unclear. Dr.DIO is a young service, launched in 2026, with an active catalog of 2,298 tracks.
Dr.DIO Creator includes the radio and 119 hour long mixes in 4K as background for streams with no limit, plus 100 downloads a month for your videos.
Dr.DIO does not run Content ID.
