When Apple Music is the better choice
Apple Music has a large catalog across every genre, curated focus, ambient and study playlists, and works on almost everything: iPhone, Apple Watch, HomePod, Vision Pro, Sonos, smart TVs and more.
If you want famous artists, Apple Music has them. Dr.DIO is one studio with no famous artists.
When Dr.DIO fits better
Dr.DIO radio is free, while Apple Music has no free tier. Stations such as Deep Focus and Café & Lounge play on the web, iPhone and CarPlay.
Apple terms allow personal, noncommercial use only. For a store or cafe, Dr.DIO Business at $14.99 a month per venue includes a public playback license for Dr.DIO music, with the caveats below.
