When Headspace is the better choice
Headspace combines focus music with meditation, sleep and coaching content, and offers Student and Family plans. If you want guided meditation, Dr.DIO offers nothing like it.
It also has binaural beats and sleep sounds. Dr.DIO is not a sleep product and makes no claims about focus.
When Dr.DIO fits better
If you only use Headspace for its focus music, Dr.DIO radio is free with no ads, and Club at $2.99 a month costs much less than a $12.99 subscription.
Stations such as Deep Focus and Evening Chill play mostly instrumental downtempo and ambient that change with the hour. The catalog is small and from one studio.
