When Feelment is the better choice

Feelment has a large mainstream catalog and lets you import Spotify playlists and schedule music. Teosto lists it as a legal background music service. If your Finnish venue needs familiar songs, it fits better than Dr.DIO, which has no label hits.

Its trial is also friendly: two weeks, no card, and it does not convert to a paid plan on its own.

When Dr.DIO fits better

With Feelment a venue pays the subscription plus a Musiikkiluvat.fi license; for a 50 seat restaurant that is about EUR 50 a month. Dr.DIO Business is $14.99 a month in total for Dr.DIO music, because no Dr.DIO track is registered with Teosto, Gramex or any other society.

Finland is not named in our caveat, but the same rule applies everywhere: in some countries (Germany with GEMA, for example) a society may presume all music is managed and the venue may need to show it plays only non managed music. Radio, TV or live music still need their own licenses.
