When Jamendo Licensing is the better choice
Jamendo's in store radio costs EUR 89 a year for one venue, less than Dr.DIO Business. It draws on many independent artists, with 10 curated radios updated weekly and no ads.
For a small shop that only wants low cost legal background music, it is a good fit.
When Dr.DIO fits better
Dr.DIO Business adds your own station and an hourly schedule, plus a certificate for the venue, and everything in Creator for your videos and live streams.
The music comes from one studio, so the sound is consistent across 12 stations that follow the hour of the day. No Dr.DIO track is registered with any collecting society, and the license for Dr.DIO music comes from the studio directly. In some countries a society may presume all music is in its repertoire (GEMA in Germany is one example), and the venue may need to show it plays only non managed music. Radio, TV or live music in the same venue still need their own licenses.
